What Year Was It?

What Year Was It?

Android Volume Live

Five clues from one year, one at a time. Guess early for more points. New year daily.

Five clues, one year. Something went on sale, something happened, a film came out, a song was everywhere, and somebody won. The clues arrive one at a time, and you can lock in your guess after any of them by turning a dial from 1960 to 2024. The fewer clues you needed, the more points you score. Every day is a different year, and everyone gets the same one, so the argument about who knew it from the first clue can start straight away. There are 130 hand-written clue sets, two per year, and every clue is fact-checked. When the daily is done there is free play, and you can catch up on yesterday's year if you missed it. Streaks and a spoiler-free share grid. If you are stuck, Extra Clue and Narrow the Dial are there for the price of a short ad. No account, no typing, nothing to buy. Plays offline once installed. The game is in English.
