Terms of Service

1. Acceptance & Rights

By downloading or using the apps and websites ("Services") developed by Crystl Labs, you agree to these Terms. All applications, underlying code, algorithms, and models are the exclusive intellectual property of Crystl Labs. You are granted a personal, non-transferable license to use our apps. You may not copy, reverse engineer, or extract the source code.

2. Acceptable Use & AI

You agree to use our Services only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to hack our apps or the third-party AI processors we utilize. While we strive for precision, AI-generated content may sometimes be inaccurate. You should not rely solely on our applications for critical medical, legal, or financial decisions.

3. Disclaimers

Our Services are provided "AS IS". To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crystl Labs shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages resulting from your use of our apps.

4. Governing Language

English is the official and controlling language for this website and all Crystl Labs apps, content, and releases. Translations are provided solely for the convenience of our users. In the event of any conflict or discrepancy between the English version and a translated version, the English version shall govern and prevail.

5. Eligibility and Age

You must be at least 18 years old to use any Service that is marked as restricted to adults, which includes any health or wellness App. Those Apps ask you to confirm your age before they can be used, and confirming falsely is a breach of these Terms. Our Services are not directed to children under 13.

6. Health and Wellness Apps — No Medical Advice

This section applies to any Crystl Labs App that records or presents health, fitness, nutrition or wellness information, currently Crystl: Supplements and Fasting. Where it conflicts with any other section, this section prevails.

• The App provides general wellness information only. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or dosing instructions, and nothing in it is a substitute for a physician, pharmacist, dietitian or other qualified professional.
• Consult a physician before starting, stopping or changing any supplement, and before fasting — particularly if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, take prescription medication, or have a medical condition.
• Interaction, synergy, upper-limit and pregnancy-caution notices are produced by a fixed rule table. They are not exhaustive, they do not cover prescription medications, and the absence of a notice is not a statement that a combination is safe.
• Reference ranges for laboratory markers vary between laboratories. Biological-age and cycle figures are research-derived estimates, not diagnostic tests. Cycle and fertile-window figures must not be used for contraception or for fertility treatment decisions.
• A consumer DNA export is not clinical-grade genotyping. Any interpretation the App displays is informational and is not established clinical guidance.
• AI-generated responses are produced by a third-party model and may be wrong. Verify anything that matters with a qualified professional.

In an emergency, contact your local emergency service. Do not rely on the App for urgent medical needs.

7. Assumption of Risk

You decide what you take and what you do with the information the Services present. You use the Services at your own risk and accept full responsibility for those decisions and their consequences. If you are unsure whether something is appropriate for you, do not act on it without professional advice.

8. No Warranty

The Services are provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE", without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Services will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that any information, rule, calculation or AI response they present is accurate, complete or current. Where a jurisdiction does not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, the exclusions above apply only to the extent that law permits.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Crystl Labs and its owners are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive or exemplary damages, nor for any loss of data, profits or goodwill, arising from or connected with your use of the Services, whether in contract, tort or otherwise, and whether or not we were advised of the possibility. To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Services is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for that Service in the twelve months before the claim arose, or KRW 100,000. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Crystl Labs and its owners from any claim, demand, loss, liability or expense, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your use of the Services, your breach of these Terms, your violation of any law, or your infringement of any third party's rights.

11. Termination

You may stop using the Services at any time by uninstalling the App. We may suspend or end your access at any time, with or without notice, if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue a Service. The sections covering health and wellness Apps, assumption of risk, warranty, liability, indemnification and governing law survive termination.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms from time to time. Material changes are reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above and, where an App requires it, by asking you to accept the revised terms again. Continuing to use the Services after a change takes effect means you accept the revised Terms.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute arising from these Terms or from the Services is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Republic of Korea. If you are a consumer, this does not deprive you of the protection of any mandatory consumer-law provisions of your country of residence.
