StarClash

Web Volume Live

Which repo did the internet star harder? Higher or lower, on GitHub stars.

The same higher-or-lower shape as StatClash, pointed at a very different audience: 64 GitHub repositories and their star counts, straight from the GitHub REST API. It splits off from StatClash rather than hiding behind a deck picker, because a developer who wants to argue about whether Julia has more stars than ReactOS is not the same person who wants to guess YouTube views, and putting a menu in front of both would have served neither. Language tags and repository avatars come with each card, so you are guessing from the same signals you would use on the real site.

Dev log //

One commit, which is the honest length of a project that was carved out of another one. The GitHub deck used to live inside StatClash behind a deck picker; on 2026-08-01 it left and became its own site, because two audiences with a menu in front of them is worse than two sites with none. Everything else it needs already existed in shared/.
