Paper City Detective

PC Volume Live

In a city made of paper, the truth hides behind the next layer.

Foldbury is a city of card and glue, and you are Inspector Quill, its only detective. Somebody is snipping pieces out of the city at night: a clock hand, a bridge railing, a whole front door. Slide the back, middle and front paper layers of each scene to line up gaps, pin every clue on the cork board and name the culprit by counting the signs each suspect leaves. Thirty-two cases across eight districts, from Clocktower Lane to the forgotten Lower Folds, lead to an old papermaker whose snips point somewhere nobody has looked in fifty years.
