Korean Word a Day

Korean Word a Day

Android Volume Live

One Korean word a day. Read it, learn what it means, then build it from Hangul.

Korean Word a Day gives you one common Korean word each day, with its meaning, how to say it, and a short sentence that uses it. Then three quick rounds make it stick. First you read it in Hangul with romanization and hear your phone say it. Then you pick the meaning from four choices and see it used in a sentence. Last, you rebuild the word from its letters, which is where Hangul starts to make sense. There are 532 everyday words, most common first, and the romanization follows the official Revised Romanization of Korean. Hear It Slowly plays the word at a slower pace, My Words keeps the ones you want to drill again, and a Bonus Word is there when one a day is not enough. Streaks and a share card track the habit. It is made for English speakers starting Korean, and the interface is in English. Free with ads, no account, no typing, nothing to buy, and it works offline once installed.
