Black Belt Beat

PC Volume Live

A taekwondo rhythm game: kick on the beat, shout kihap and earn your black belt.

Han Seo-yeon, 16, grew up on the mats of her grandmother's dojang, Hanbit Taekwondo. When the glossy Titan Academy opens across the street, students start leaving, and Grandmaster Han makes a bet: if Hanbit's demo team wins the National Youth Championship, Titan leaves the block. Seo-yeon has one year to earn her black belt and build a team. Punch, block and kick on the beat across 17 poomsae played as songs, pass 10 belt tests, break boards and spar against 24 rivals in 4 tournaments, then build up the dojang.
